QUÉBEC'S MOUNTAIN BIKE KINDERGARTEN
In mountain biking, starting with the right basics makes all the difference between a rough day and the day you get hooked for good.
Whether you choose a seasonal Sprockids program, a private lesson, or a week at Dirt Camp, you'll leave with new skills, more confidence, and the urge to keep riding all summer long.
The Sprockids program is where kids and adult beginners learn to ride for real. Not just to pedal: to read a trail, build confidence, progress at their own pace, and have fun as a group.
The program breaks down the art of mountain biking into progressive skills, learned one at a time, each one building on the last. There's no failing here, just participants moving forward at their own pace, leaving each week with a little more confidence and the urge to come back.
Our instructors are certified by PMBIA Québec, a globally recognized standard for the quality of mountain bike instruction.
The program is offered in two age groups, in a spring session and a fall session.

Choosing a trail that matches your level is the key to a fun and safe day. Too easy and you get bored, too hard and you get discouraged. Here's a little guide to help you figure out where you stand, with trail examples at Mont Rigaud for each level. When in doubt, always go with the lower level: you can always level up as the day goes on, but a bad surprise on a trail that's too difficult can ruin the day.
