JOIN THE TEAM

We have a lot on our plate

Instructors, patrollers, cooks, mechanics, rental and front desk staff: every member of the Mont Rigaud team helps make each day memorable for our visitors.

Our main hiring season runs in the fall, from September to December, ahead of the winter season. But we're always keeping an eye out for great people all year round: some positions get posted outside that window, and we welcome unsolicited applications any time.

If you'd like to be part of the adventure, get in touch!

HIRING FOR WINTER 2026-27

1 - Check out the detailed job descriptions and submit your application before November 1st, 2026

2 - Interviews are scheduled to begin on October 18, 2026

3 - Training will take place in mid-November, ahead of the season launch.

MOUNTAIN HEROES

Behind every great day at Mont Rigaud, there are dozens of team members working hard to make sure our guests have a memorable, stress-free day on the mountain. From the chairlifts to the kitchen, from ski patrol to trail maintenance, these are the teams that keep the mountain running.

CHAIRLIFTS

Masters of heights

Chairlift operators are the mountain's quiet guardians: they greet every skier with the same calm, friendly attitude, whether it's the first or the hundredth of the day. They know just when to slow the lift, the right words to reassure a nervous first-timer, and how to turn a first chairlift ride into an unforgettable memory.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

The first smile of the day

Do you like people? All people? Even the one who shows up at 8:59 a.m. with three kids, two pairs of skis in their arms, and a question about last year's season pass? Perfect, we've got a spot for you. The customer service team is the beating heart of Mont Rigaud: they're the ones who welcome, guide, solve problems, and smile, even on stormy Saturdays when everyone shows up at once. A role for people who genuinely love helping others.

EQUIPMENT RENTALS

The Fit Experts

Too big, too small, too old, poorly adjusted: bad equipment can ruin an entire day. The rental team is the one who fixes all that in a few minutes, with a smile. They fit out hundreds of people a day, adjust bindings down to the millimetre, spot uncomfortable boots before the customer even complains, and make sure everyone leaves well-equipped and ready to hit the slopes. A mix of service, technical skill, and common sense.

FOOD SERVICES

The Poutine and Hot Chocolate Heroes

Because a ski day without hot chocolate is like a trail without snow. The food services team feeds, warms up, and lifts the spirits of hundreds of skiers a day, from the cafeteria to the Bistro to the Snack Shack at the summit. Cooks, counter staff, servers, cashiers: it's a fast, resourceful team that's essential to our visitors' happiness. Spoiler: you're about to become a lot of kids' favourite person!

CLEANUP CREW

The Cleanliness Ninjas

During the day, they make sure the lodge stays welcoming and comfortable while the mountain buzzes with activity: tables wiped down, trays cleared, spotless washrooms, and every once in a while, a log slipped into the fireplace under the amazed eyes of a few skiers who weren't expecting it. Steady, low-key, and essential work.

Once everyone's gone home, the night crew takes over. Your playlist in your ears, a mop in your hands, and the satisfaction of knowing you're the reason hundreds of visitors start their day off right. Not glamorous? Maybe. Essential and honestly way cooler than people think? Absolutely.

SKI, SNOWBOARD AND BIKE INSTRUCTORS

Passion planters

There are people out there who learned to ski or ride a mountain bike thanks to a Mont Rigaud instructor. Some of them have even made it to the Olympics! And they still remember their first turns on the Pente-École at Mont Rigaud. Maybe that was you, once upon a time. Now it's your turn to pass on that thrill.

Instructors at the Ski & Snowboard School and the Bike School are so much more than sport technicians: they're dream weavers, confidence builders, people who turn fear into fun and beginners into diehards.

MOUNTAIN PATROL

The Mountain's Guardian Angels

First responders, keepers of the Code of conduct, first aid experts, and safety ambassadors: Mont Rigaud's patrollers wear a lot of hats. They cover the trails from morning until close, always alert, ready to step in at a moment's notice. Their quiet but reassuring presence is part of the Mont Rigaud experience. A demanding role, for steady people who stay calm under pressure and are deeply committed to keeping others safe.

TRAIL MAINTENANCE

Sculptors of the Mountain

At 3 a.m., when everyone else is asleep, they're already hard at work. Groomer operators sculpt the trails so the corduroy is perfect by opening time.

In the summer, André's team designs, builds, and maintains the mountain bike trails, turning the forest into a playground. Precision, passion, and pride, all in a day's work.

MECHANICAL TEAM

The Mountain's Doctors

When a chairlift starts making a strange noise, when a snow gun refuses to cooperate, or when something breaks down at 7 a.m. on a packed Saturday, the mechanical team is who gets the call. Electromechanics, technicians, welders: these folks see the mountain differently. They know every gear, every cable, every valve. Low-key, essential, indispensable. The mountain runs because they make sure everything runs smoothly.
